Being Present

Sometimes my head feels like it might explode with everything that is going on in life right now. With graduation coming soon and our future plans being uncertain, more often than not, I find myself daydreaming, praying, worrying, and being excited about whatever comes next rather than really being present in what's happening in life today.

A few things to be present for:
- enjoying our first apartment
- enjoying the beautiful spring plants blooming in this awesome summer weather
- cherishing our 1st year of marriage
- taking advantage of the fact that my family lives so close by
- having no job, other than school, to stress about
- spending sweet time with Eddie and learning how to love him better
- listening for what the Lord is saying about today...about where Eddie and I are now
- enjoying my last month or so on campus, taking classes

Here's to living life with intentionality in the midst of uncertainty...

  1. I love this reminder to "be present". It reminds me of this quote i saw recently (I forget who said it though!): "wherever you are, be all there."

Thanks so much for your sweet comments on my blog! yours is simply adorable and I can't wait to follow along! so nice to meet you, girl!

  2. lovely. sometimes we all need to step back and appreciate the little things.

  3. being present is thee number one thing in life, especially with others that we all need and want...but to also be present in these things you listed, you are so wise...love your list!

  4. i have that feeling too sometimes. when things are taking their place all at once. but then again, you're right. we should be in the present. and living it through one day at a time
